"Class of the King" The Norwich Inn and King Arthur Flour

The Inn has teamed with local Norwich baking Icon, King Arthur Flour, to offer this gourmet baking and dining experience. Enjoy the Class of the King package which includes a baking class at King Arthur Flour, accommodations at the Inn, a 3 course, gourmet dinner for 2 in our Dining Room, followed by breakfast for 2 the next morning. Gratuities for package items are included. All for just $199 per night, per person, double occupancy for accommodations in the Main Inn; $179 for the Carriage House. Alcoholic beverages and taxes not included. Make a weekend of it: add Friday or Sunday night for $129 in the Main Inn; $89 in the Carriage House. The King Arthur Flour Baking Education Center is located less than one mile from the Inn.

Classes are available on the following dates:

Saturday, May 10, 1-5 pm: "Flatbreads from the Hearth"

Fire up the wood-burning oven to create and bake chewy flavorable focaccia and fabulous fougasse.

Saturday May 17, 1-5 pm: "Bread 101"

Overcome yeast anxiety forever with this class on basic yeast bread. Plunge your hands into the dough and learn to mix and knead bread that is successful every time.

Weekday Get-Away at the Norwich Inn

Enjoy Vermont's Upper Valley and its nearby attractions, whether it's shopping at King Arthur Flour, attending an event at Dartmouth College or skiing at one of the many areas within an easy drive. Your perfect base of operations is the Norwich Inn. Check out our Weekday Get-Away package which includes a standard room in the Main Inn, your option of a 3 course, gourmet dinner for 2 in our Dining Room or a 2 course dinner in Jasper Murdock's Alehouse, followed by breakfast for 2 the next morning. Gratuities for package items are included. All for just $239 per room per night for the Dining Room option or $199 for the Alehouse option, double occupancy (taxes and alcoholic beverages not included). Subject to availability, Sunday-Thursday, package valid until August 28, 2008.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center "Rest Easy" Package

For those visiting our using the DHMC facility, the Norwich Inn offers a 10% discount off room rates plus a free Vermont Country Breakfast each day of your stay for up to 2 persons, double occupancy. To qualify for the Package, you must have a "Rest Easy" advance reservation and please bring your "Room Rate Voucher," which can be obtained from the Rest Easy Brochure or at the DHMC Information Desk.
