Expired: National Beer Day! April 7

National Beer Day is celebrated in the U S every year on April 7, marking the day that the Cullen-Harrison Act was enacted, signed into law by FDR in 1933. Upon signing the legislation, Roosevelt made his famous remark, “I think this would be a good time for a beer.” The law allowed people to buy, sell and drink beer containing 3.2% alcohol . People across the country responded by gathering outside breweries; on that first day, 1.5 million barrels of beer were consumed, inspiring this “holiday.” To help celebrate the occasion, the Inn has a number of Brew Specials:
- Buy a Growler & get a fill for $12. If you already have a growler, bring it in for a $12 fill
- $6 pints all night
- Buy a 22 oz Bomber Bottle of your choice for $5; 2 for $9
- Jasper Murdock Whistling Pig Cheddar on sale for $5; 2 for $9
